U.S. Treasury yields edged higher Thursday as investors continue to monitor developments on the omicron Covid-19 variant. The yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note rose to 1.5479% by 1:30 a.m. ET, while the yield on the 30-year Treasury bond edged up to 1.9596%. Yields move inversely to prices and 1 basis point is equal to 0.01%.
