Cole Sprouse is no stranger to photography. The actor has captured everyone from Kendall Jenner to Sophie Turner from behind his lens; now, he is launching a photography website to showcase his art to the world—while simultaneously saving the world. Today, the actor announced he’ll be donating 100 percent of proceeds from his print, Fallen Tree, to support two Canadian environmental groups: the Endangered Ecosystems Alliance (EEA) and the Nature-Based Solutions Foundation (NBSF), which both work to protect endangered ecosystems.

Sprouse rose to fame at a young age by playing the lovable twin Cody in the Disney Channel series The Sweet Life of Zack & Cody and most recently starred as Jughead on Riverdale. His new endeavor marks a big step for him as a climate advocate. “While it’s wonderful to simply see your own work in physical print, it’s even more fulfilling to have those prints become a conduit for change in global issues I feel strongly about,” Sprouse exclusively told ELLE.com.

Sprouse’s partnership with these environmental groups could not have come at a better time. Right now, countries across the world are gathering for the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26), which is taking place in the U.K. through Nov. 12. The environment is a big inspiration for Sprouse in his work, too. “I have, and always will, take my primary inspiration from the landscape,” he added. “Whether it’s a tranquil, lonely desert or an imposing sharp mountain range, I felt it was time to try and assist a global environment that has assisted the many different photographic arenas I’ve tackled over the years.”
The photographs published on Sprouse’s site range from fashion photos to documentary-style shoots, as well as vast natural landscapes. In his reportage photographs, Sprouse candidly captures impoverished communities, protests, and uprisings. All of the images offer a peek into the mind of the artist and showcase what he finds beautiful, noteworthy, and the types of stories he wishes to tell—this time, our Earth’s natural beauty.
