Queens of the Stone Age Share New “Negative Space” Video: Watch

Queens of the Stone Age have shared a Liam Lynch–directed video for “Negative Space,” a cut from their latest album In Times New Roman…. In the short, a holographic figure in a leather jacket and gas mask drifts through a zero-gravity sci-fi scene. Watch it below.

Tonight marks the beginning of the North American leg of the End Is Nero Tour, the band’s lengthy tour in support of the new album. Following this evening’s show in Detroit, Queens of the Stone Age will make stops in major cities like Philadelphia, New York City, Chicago, Oklahoma City, Vancouver, and San Francisco before concluding the run on October 8 in Sacramento, California. Opening select dates are Phantogram, the Armed, Viagra Boys, and Jehnny Beth.

In addition to “Negative Space,” In Times New Roman… features the singles “Emotion Sickness,” “Paper Machete,” and “Carnavoyeur.” Frontman Joshua Homme revealed that he was diagnosed with cancer last year. He revealed the news during an interview with Revolver’s Steve Appleford, explaining that he underwent surgery to remove the cancer and it was successful. “I never say it can’t get any worse. I never say that, and I wouldn’t advise it. But I do say it can get better,” he said.
