King Moore the 8 year old actor/rapper turned activist officially joins the fight for Gun Violence Prevention. King being the youngest invited participant to join lawmakers at the White House made his presence loud and clear as he quoted at a recent Gun Violence Prevention event. “ Kids make up twenty five percent of the population, however we also make up one hundred percent of the future”. In my interview King also revealed his reasoning for accepting the task of being a representative for the alpha generation was solidified with the recent school shooting in Georgia. “ My generation should not be afraid to go to school.”

To imply this young man is not a beacon of light in his community would be an understatement. When asked what his plans were for the Gun Violence Prevention initiative, King responded, “ Being invited to the White House to speak and represent my generation on the topic of gun violence prevention has been the most memorable because it gives me an opportunity to be a leader and make a difference. I also am committing to do a thirty to sixty city tour of kindergarten and elementary schools nationwide to discuss the importance of gun safety. I just want to do my part to help with the problem.”

King Moore is appearing  in Dreamwork’s latest animation release “Wild Robot” and is also scheduled to appear on the Tamron Hall show November 22nd on ABC.
