While the 2024 election has yet to be decided, Hollywood notables have taken to social media to share their reactions and anxieties over anticipated delays in results.

Katie Couric, Bette Midler, Yvette Nicole Brown, John Cusack and Krista Vernoff are among those politically active stars in Hollywood commenting on the tight race between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, which has the vice president with 189 electoral votes and the former president with 230 as of 9:45 p.m. PT Tuesday.

As for Harris, Harris was declared the victor of New York, Vermont, Maryland, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Delaware, California, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, the District of Columbia, Connecticut, Virginia, Hawaii and Illinois.

Former President Barack Obama reminded voters that “it took several days to count every ballot in 2020, and it’s very likely we won’t know the outcome tonight either.”

Brown wrote on X, “Damn this red mirage. And if we lose the Senate… Ugh!!! And Latino voters leaning towards Trump when he vows to DEPORT THEM! I just…”
