Adobe’s Scott Belsky to Join A24 as Partner

Oscar-winning indie studio A24 has hired Scott Belsky, Adobe’s chief strategy officer and executive vp of design & emerging products, to lead technology and innovation projects.

The entrepreneur, author, and creator will join the entertainment company as a partner in March while remaining an advisor to Adobe.

After leading key initiatives at Adobe to develop products for artists, he will work to deepen A24’s commitment to filmmakers by providing tools and resources to support their creative vision. A

He also founded Behance, an online platform for more than 50 million creative professionals to showcase their work, discover new talent, and advance their careers, which he later sold to Adobe.

“i’ll be shifting gears over the coming months + jumping into the fast-evolving world of filmmaking and storytelling (a longtime passion),” Belsky wrote on X. “excited to join @A24, an independent studio i have long admired – as a partner and will be kicking off a few special projects within. fortunately, i’ll remain extended family of Adobe and look forward to working with them as a future tech partner.”

Belsky serves on the board of directors for Atlassian and has been an early advisor and investor in the likes of Pinterest, Uber, sweetgreen, Good Inside, and Ramp. Through that, he became an advocate for initiatives that empower creatives.

He is also the author of the books Making Ideas Happen (2010) and The Messy Middle (2018).
