Congratulations to our nominated writers and translators! This is just a sampling of WLT’s extraordinary content from the past year—as always, choosing from more than two hundred contributors, both print and online, proved exceptionally difficult.

As 2021 comes to a close—and amidst the ongoing global crisis of year two of the pandemic—WLT’s editors would like to thank the many writers, translators, reviewers, contributing editors, University of Oklahoma colleagues and students, and readers who make World Literature Today a vital contribution to the conversation about international literature and culture. As stewards of the magazine’s ninety-five-year history, we’re remarkably privileged to share this work with the world.
