The new “Soft Landing” visual arrives with the release of the hip-hop artists’ excellent new album, Maps
billy woods and Kenny Segal have shared a new video for their song “Soft Landing,” from the hip-hop artists’ new album, Maps. The clip, which features woods and Segal traveling through a bar and city streets, was co-directed by actor and playwright Tim Blake Nelson and his son Henry Nelson (who makes a cameo as a passing skateboarder). The road trip–inspired Maps is woods and Segal’s second collaborative LP after 2019’s Hiding Places. The album includes features from Danny Brown, Future Islands’ Samuel T. Herring (on lead single “FaceTime”), Quelle Chris, Aesop Rock, and more. woods and Segal will also tour together for the first time ever starting this month in Los Angeles.
