Peter Reckell (Bo Brady) and Kristian Alfonso (Hope Williams Brady) aren’t the only big names set to appear on Days of our Lives in 2025. A host of other popular faves recently returned to the studio to shoot episodes that will air next June. Included in the comeback group are Matthew Ashford (Jack Deveraux), Christie Clark (Carrie Brady), Leann Hunley (Anna DiMera), Victoria Konefal (Ciara Weston), Chandler Massey (Will Horton), Thaao Penghlis (Tony DiMera), Melissa Reeves (Jennifer Horton) and Charles Shaughnessy (Shane Donovan, also known as The Nanny’s Mr. Sheffield).
“We always love it when members of our beloved family return to Salem,” executive producer Ken Corday tells TV Insider. “Fans are really going to enjoy what we have in store beginning this fall and well into next year.”
Reeves, who will also take part in the show’s 15,000th episode, airing in December, always loves coming back to catch up with her castmates. “It’s literally like when you don’t see your family and then you have a family reunion,” she says. “I’m like, ‘I have to focus on the storyline but at the same time, I want to visit with everyone and find out what’s going on in their lives.’ You could text people that but there’s nothing like seeing people in person.”
She also appreciates the glamorous aspects of her soap job. “I get my hair and makeup done and wear beautiful clothes,” smiles the actress, who lives on a ranch in Tennessee with her husband, Scott Reeves (ex-Stephen, General Hospital et al). “We have the best hair, makeup, and wardrobe departments.”
The Peacock streamer is currently in its 60th season. It has an unusual shooting schedule for soaps in that it is the only show that films eight months in advance, so viewers will have to wait a bit to see why these stars have returned.
