Flying Lotus is back with a new song thatâs inspired by David Lynchâs Twin Peaks. The single, âGarmonbozia,â gets its name from the mysterious substance that looks like creamed corn and represents âpain and sorrow.â Itâs also a rare Flying Lotus with vocals from Steven Ellison himself, with the producer singing of âpain and sorrowâ and âthe red room.â Find the track below.
Garmonbozia shows up in the original Twin Peaks and Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me; the substance is featured, rather grotesquely, in Twin Peaks: The Return, too.
Back in 2017, Flying Lotus remixed the Twin Peaks theme. He released his most recent solo studio album, Flamagra, two years later.
