JOHN GITANO

As early as the mid-1970’s, John was signed to the producers of KISS, Richie Wise and Kenny Kerner, who were partnering at the time with Casablanca Records and label president Neal Bogart. Gene Simmons of KISS had personally orchestrated the particulars by making available his connections for John, after watching him perform.

There were discussions and, in turn, meetings with Rocket Records (owned by Elton John) subsequently, as well as John re-signing with Nile Rogers’ management and production company during the time of Nile’s string of commercial hits with the group CHIC. The iconic PR agent of the era, Carol Ross, personally assisted in acquiring John’s next management deal, which eventually led to John being signed by the renowned William Morris Agency.

In addition to also being employed as a session musician, outside of the music industry John has worked as a celebrity bodyguard, and a private investigator. Among his many cases, he was hired by the Sheraton Hotel family to investigate the disappearance of Sheraton Hotel fortune heiress Marcia Moore. A documentary about her life and mysterious, unsolved death is being filmed and nearing completion as of this writing.

Jumping ahead, John’s longtime aspiration was to form the present band/project THE AMERICAN RELICS www.theamericanrelics.com to bring by way of original music the sounds and feel of not only wonderful music eras gone by, but new music created with the analog-sounding, melodic, and production values that so many music listeners miss nowadays. John and the band/project is being represented presently by renowned music attorney Paul Schindler, who, amongst his many other artist representations, has written industry contracts for Madonna, Bon Jovi, Shakira, Ricky Martin, Alicia Keyes, Marc Anthony, Russell Simmons (the sale of Def Jam Records), etc., etc.

Music in its purest sense has been flowing from John’s pores since childhood, and the particular language of the creativity that John grew up steeped in created his musical vocabulary that seems to have a limitless capacity to bridge eras and styles with boundless ease.

The Happy Hour Podcast was created in June 2020 in the midst of the pandemic.

It was the brainchild of the main host Ray Chace aka professional wrestler for over 20 plus years Chace Rawlings.

The HHPod is a bunch of friends hanging out in the basement drinking and having a good time. We talk about the same kind of stuff we talk about whenever we are around each other. That includes snickering in the corner at weddings, baby showers, etc. leaving their wife’s wondering WHAT THE FUCK IS SO FUNNY?

We talk about the kind of stuff twisted folks like us do when the alcohol starts flowing like sex, porn, video games, crazy adventures and more. There are no limits (except politics) it’s all raw and uncensored.

There’s times where we have civilized convos with our guests, for the most part it’s as unscripted as possible so you get that authentic feel to it.

“Call it on the fly” a popular lingo term in the world of pro wrestling is what Ray likes to do. Have bullet points but the rest call as you go.

All the guests have a ball on the show and anybody from any walk of life is welcome. In a world where everybody is soft the guys are always going hard.
