Saturday Night Live will feature a surprise appearance by Vice President Kamala Harris, the NY Post reports. After a day of campaigning in Atlanta and Charlotte, she is joining Saturday’s (November 2) cold open sketch.

With the 2024 election less than a week away, Harris’ surprise appearance marks another milestone in her brief, but storied campaign.

Who will host the SNL post-election show?

NBC has revealed that Bill Burr will host the post-election show on November 9, with Mk.gee as musical guest! This is the first time in three election cycles that Dave Chappelle has not been brought in to host.

Yes! Saturday Night Live is new this weekend, on Saturday (November 2), with John Mulaney hosting and Chappell Roan as musical guest (and Kamala Harris as surprise cold open guest).

What else is on SNL‘s upcoming schedule?

After the post-election episode with Burr, the host for the following week, on Saturday, November 16, Charlie XCX will pull double duty as host and musical guest.

Plus, the landmark 50th season will be part of NBC’s fall lineup.
