Kate Middleton and Prince William made their visit to the Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford a family affair today. All three of their children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—joined the couple for the military air show.
The family all matched in white and navy looks. Kate stood out in a tan blazer, navy pants, and a white T-shirt. Charlotte, meanwhile, wore a striped dress with a Peter Pan collar, while her brother George wore a blue polo and green pants.
Louis was dressed in a white collared shirt, blue shorts, and a navy sweater. He appeared stoic during the event, keeping things very professional even as he waved to photographers.
George in particular appears to have gotten quite tall ahead of his 10th birthday on July 22. According to People, a close family source told the outlet that George is “a cracking lad.”
A palace insider also discussed how Kate and William are handling raising their oldest son, who is now second in line to the throne after his father. “It’s a massive balancing act,” the source said. “William and Kate are doing the right thing, protecting him so he can have as normal a childhood as possible, but he’s also dipping into duties as a future monarch. He’s getting firsthand experience of what it’s like to be a royal and a monarch and firsthand experience of being a normal boy.”
