The drummer attended Yungblud‘s, real name Dom Harrison, gig at Hollywood Palladium on August 23, and was “truly inspired and blown away”. He posted a photo of himself and Harrison posing on his Instagram account, and wrote a lengthy caption commending his performance – and comparing him to greats such as Ozzy Osbourne and Mick Jagger.
“The room was electric and the crowd was insane,” the post read. “The energy all came from the stage as Yungblud brought it. He is a pupil of RNR and has done his homework. He’s studied the greatest frontmen…Freddie,Tyler,Jagger,Iggy,Idol,Plant,Bowie,Axl,Weiland and of course Ozzy and now he has discovered himself and is unleashing it on the world.
“I will go so far as to say I saw something historic last night and the world needs this. Congrats Dom you are going no place but up !!!”

“I was always a bit over the top. I was always seen to be a bit crazy. I was always seen to be a bit loud, but when some people saw that as a negative, Ozzy would provide me with the hope that there was an avenue for someone like me in the world.”
Elsewhere, he also said ‘Idols: Part Two’ is still coming – but that fans should expect another project in the interim. “‘Idols: Part Two’ is still coming, but there have been some mad opportunities presented to me in the past month, so there is going to be another project in between parts one and two,” he said. “America has really opened its doors to me, and there’s a lot coming. What we’re about to announce is wild…”
