Mickey Guyton will head out on a North American tour this September. To go with the announcement, the country artist has shared a new song, âScary Love.â Check that out, along with the dates, below.
Guyton wrote âScary Loveâ with Emma-Lee, producer Karen Kosowski, and Victoria Banks in tribute to her three-year-old son. In a press release, she said, âThereâs so many types of love, but for parents who truly love their kids, thereâs nothing we wonât do for them. That kind of love is so scary because your heart is literally outside of your body and youâre seeing your heart grow up and become somebody. All you want to do is protect this personâthatâs the scariest love that youâll ever experience.â
Guyton released her lone solo studio album, Remember Her Name, in September 2021. Sheâs more recently shared songs including âWoman,â âI Still Pray,â and âSomethinâ Bout You.â
