Selena Gomez Shares Photo of Her Hang Out With BLACKPINK

LifeStyle

K-Pop stars BLACKPINK are embarking on their world tour, and fans across the world are so excited to hear them perform their big hits. Those fans include other pop icons. The band is wildly popular amongst other celebrities who have often been seen at their concerts. Even Taylor Swift was seen dancing to the group’s performance at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, and Lizzo managed to grab a video selfie with Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa.

On Saturday, November 26, musical artist Selena Gomez joined the fan club, sharing an adorable picture of herself with BLACKPINK on Instagram, titling it, “Selpink chillin.”

In the photos, Gomez is wearing wide-legged light wash jeans, a black t-shirt, and a long black leather jacket. She has her hair up in a bun and is wearing dark red lipstick. The BLACKPINK stars are very color-coordinated with one another, wearing their own merch in shades of grey and white.

Gomez worked with BLACKPINK on the group 2020 hit “Ice Cream,” off their album The Album. In the video, Gomez doesn’t actually seem to ever be in the room with the other gals, so this meet up is particularly sweet. She does get to drive an ice cream truck in a sailor hat, though.

In an interview with CR Fashion Book, Gomez said of her collaboration with BLACKPINK, “I just love them and their energy. We had a lot of fun together but sadly because of the virus we weren’t able to do anything in person. I had met Jisoo and Rosé at a fashion show a couple of years ago but I can’t wait to meet the other girls in person one day.”

That day has finally arrived, and it was exactly what everyone dreamed it would be.
