Between the months-long marketing campaign (including the impressive list of brand collabs), Wicked part one’s record-breaking box office numbers and Part Two‘s November 2025 premiere (now officially titled Wicked: For Good), the Wicked buzz isn’t dying down anytime soon.

Here’s how to rent, buy and stream the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical’s film adaptation at home, including how to preorder the movie musical on Blu-ray and digital; plus, how to watch exclusive behind-the-scenes footage with director Jon M. Chu.

Where to Watch Wicked Online

As of Tuesday, Dec. 31, at 12 a.m. ET, Wicked has landed on digital platforms such as Prime Video and Apple TV as a premium video-on-demand (PVOD). Buy Wicked on Amazon for $29.99 and rent the film for $19.99.

Where to Stream Wicked Online

Universal Pictures produced Wicked, so it’s expected to be initially released to stream on Peacock, the NBCUniversal-owned streaming service.

But as a PVOD release, it’s streamable on Prime Video, Apple TV and other digital platforms as a rental or a digital purchase. Wicked will likely drop on Peacock sometime in late January or early February 2025.

Wicked Blu-Ray and Digital Code

Wicked on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray is available for preorder at online retailers including Walmart, Amazon and Target. The physical copies come with a digital code, allowing purchasers to download the digital version on their preferred devices upon release.

If you preorder a physical copy, it will be delivered on the release date of Feb. 4, 2025. Walmart and Amazon are offering retailer-exclusive versions, including a limited-edition gift set. See below for the current offerings.

How to Watch Wicked Behind-the-Scenes Footage

In anticipation of the film’s streaming arrival, Peacock released Wicked: On Set With Jon Chu, a glimpse into the making of the movie and a tour of its sets from the director himself. It’s available to watch now on Peacock.

Not a Peacock subscriber? The streamer has an ad-free Peacock Premium package for $7.99 monthly (or $79.99 yearly). Otherwise, the ad-supported plan is $13.99 monthly (or $139.99 annually).
