Wendy Stuart will be hosting TriVersity Talk! this Wednesday at 7 PM ET with featured guest Appolonia Cruz.

TriVersity Talk! is a weekly web series with featured guests discussing their lives, activism and pressing issues in the LGBTQ Community. With TriVersity Talk!, the goal is to laugh and learn.

TriVersity Talk! Is part of TriVersity’s ICARE Initiative. ICARE stands for Increasing Community Awareness through Relevant Education. ICARE Programs are generously funded by The Greater Pike Community Foundation.

Appolonia Cruz started her Drag Show career on South Beach in Miami, Florida in 1991. She did her NYC Drag Show crossover in late 1999. Early 2000’s she started hosting Pride festivals all over NYC and New Jersey, plus co-hosting the Bronx Pride Festival for close to 7 years. She took over the festival in 2013 when the Bronx Community Pride Center closed it’s doors forever and the rest is history. Ms. Cruz has been a part of “BAAD” aka “Bronx Academy or Arts Dance” Theater family since 2003. She has also fought for Marriage Equality & Trans Rights!, as well as producing segments for the former NYC LGBT Expo “Video Lounge” for close to 10 years. #TheQueenOfTheBronx has done it all.
