Beirut Plots First North American Tour in Eight Years

Music

Between recording two albums and playing the European festival route, Beirut have stayed busy this decade. But Zach Condon and his bandmates haven’t been able to cross the pond in that time, and they’re looking to change that in 2027. Next spring, Beirut will finally perform their first North American tour in eight years. Check out the full list of stops below.

Beirut will just be dipping their toes into the water here, as their shows in the United States and Canada tally up to only six concerts in total. The cities they plan on performing in are Boston, Chicago, Toronto, and Washington, D.C., with Brooklyn getting two back-to-back shows.

Last year, Beirut released their seventh and most recent album, A Study of Losses, initially commissioned by the Swedish acrobat troupe Kompani Giraff. It was prefaced by their 2023 full-length Hadsel. Songs from those records got their live debut in Europe a few years ago.
