Reacher’s back. Prime Video’s hit series Reacher follows Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson), a former U.S. Army military police investigator who roams the country, using his elite combat skills and razor-sharp instincts to take down dangerous criminals and uncover conspiracies. Part Sherlock Holmes, part UFC fighter, Reacher is a towering figure who outthinks, outfights, and outguns every enemy he comes across.
He is a favorite of dads everywhere.
Season 4 of Reacher adapts Lee Child‘s novel Gone Tomorrow, following Jack Reacher as he witnesses a woman die by suicide on a New York City subway and uncovers a massive, high-stakes government conspiracy. But before we dive back into the life of the mountain-sized drifter with a knack for solving mysteries, here is a look back at Season 3.
What was Season 3 of Reacher about?
Season 3 follows Reacher as he goes undercover inside the criminal organization of wealthy Maine businessman Zachary Beck (Anthony Michael Hall) after rescuing Beck’s son, Richard (Johnny Berchtold), from a staged kidnapping. Since he’s secretly working with DEA agent Susan Duffy (Sonya Cassidy), Reacher’s mission is twofold: Find missing informant Teresa Daniel (Storm Steenson) and investigate Beck’s mysterious boss who is behind an international arms-smuggling ring.
The case becomes deeply personal when Reacher discovers that the mastermind behind the illegal operation is Lieutenant Colonel Francis Xavier Quinn (Brian Tee), a man Reacher believed he had killed years earlier.

Who is Francis Xavier Quinn?
Years earlier, Quinn was investigated by Reacher and a fellow military investigator, as well as Reacher’s protégé, Dominique Kohl (Mariah Robinson), for selling classified U.S. military secrets to foreign buyers. During the investigation, Quinn brutally murdered Kohl. Reacher believed he had shot and killed Quinn, but Quinn survived.
Reacher considers Quinn his ultimate nemesis, calling him “the single worst person I’ve ever known.”
How does Reacher Season 3 end?
As Reacher climbs the ranks of Beck’s organization, he uncovers a sophisticated international weapons smuggling operation disguised as a rug-importing business.

Balancing his cover while protecting Richard and earning Zachary’s trust, Reacher battles Quinn’s team and works with Duffy and Neagley (Maria Sten) to stop a massive arms deal.
In the finale, Reacher rescues Teresa, dismantles the trafficking ring, and defeats Quinn’s ginormous henchman Paulie in a brutal fight. Then, in a moment of spectacular vengeance, Reacher finally kills Quinn point-blank with a shotgun after forcing him to remember murdering Kohl. Reacher then leaves town as he always does: solo, ready to drift to his next adventure.
How does Season 3 set up Season 4?
Season 3 does not have a direct narrative carryover to Season 4 because the series uses self-contained book adaptations. However, Season 3 sets up a clean slate, leaving the show free to pivot into larger mysteries contained in Season 4.
