In one of those team-ups so obvious it feels like it already happened, EDM Power Rangers Ninajirachi and Porter Robinson have collaborated on a new joint single. Titled after a global cyberattack that took place in 2017, “WannaCry” has been, according to press materials, many years in the making; the first concert Ninajirachi ever attended as a teenager was a Porter Robinson show at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre.
Robinson’s last album, Smile! 😀, came out in 2024, while Ninajirachi shared her debut full-length, I Love My Computer, last year. Beginning in September, she’ll wind down a packed year with a select few North American headlining shows.
