Willie Robertson had a surprise for some of the guys in the family during the May 9 episode of Duck Dynasty: The Revival. Although the timing may not be the best with his daughter Sadie about to give birth to her third child. Meanwhile, Uncle Si was looking to cross an item off his bucket list. One that those who know him would least expect. Read on to find out what transpired during the Season 2 finale of the A&E series.

Brother-in-laws Christian Huff and Jacob Mayo were getting their workout on when Willie told them to pack their stuff because they were going on a trip the next day. This would be part of their final test for him to decide if these were Buck Boys or Buck Men. Other members of the Robertson gang including John Reed Loflin, Will, John Luke, and Jay Stone pull into Ox Ranch in Texas. Willie described it as the “redneck Ritz Carlton,” complete with 18,000 acres for hunting filled with game to hunt and eat. The ultimate “Commander” experience where Christian and Jacob could show they have what it takes to join the company. First up was a joy ride on a big tank driven by the staff on the ranch. The adrenaline was flowing with Jacob particularly having the time of his life. Next on the agenda was skeet shooting, last man standing. Jacob won the shootout.

The last test was simple. If Jacob and Christian wanted to become a full-fledged Buck Man, they had to bring home a buck. Since Jacob won the earlier competition, he got his first crack at securing the axis deer. The other guys do their own hunting on the other side of the property. John Luke picked one off early on. Jacob bagged his game, which meant Christian felt the pressure. He was frustrated, but didn’t give up and eventually got his deer. It was at that moment Christian “went from a house cat to a Bengal tiger.”

The adventure couldn’t have come at a worse moment with Sadie drowning in work before her scheduled C-section. She had her LO (Live Original) Sister Conference to finalize, too. Not to mention a baby shower to attend. When Si overheard talk of the gathering, he asked if he could be invited since this was on his bucket list. He got the greenlight, which meant it was time to go shopping. Sadie continued to work through some hiccups with the conference venue including their normal greenroom space being a stinky locker room. She counted the days before Christian came home.

There was a heartwarming moment shared at the baby shower where Sadie revealed to her grandmother Miss Kay that she and Christian were naming their daughter after her. She would be named Kit Carroway (Kay’s maiden name). Si presented his gift, an emergency diaper blowout kit. Among the contents were a duck call, doggie disposable bags, gloves, and diapers.

“I will keep this in my car. This will be good to have.,” Sadie said. Si also put some tea in a water bottle for the baby. In that instance, it’s the thought that counts.

Toward the end of the episode Sadie gives birth to Kit with her two other daughters Honey and Haven bringing mom flowers. Later during a celebratory dinner, Jacob and Christian were given the thumbs up by Willie as they became his two newest employees. Willie alluded in the end that they were just getting started.
