Wendy Stuart Kaplan and Steven Bloomer-Teague will be hosting TriVersity Talk this Thursday at 7 pm ET with featured guest Simone Kraus.

TriVersity Talk is a weekly web series with featured guests discussing their lives, activism and pressing issues in the LGBTQ Community. With TriVersity Talk!, the goal is to laugh and learn.

TriVersity Talk! Is part of TriVersity’s ICARE Initiative. ICARE stands for Increasing Community Awareness through Relevant Education. ICARE Programs are generously funded by The Greater Pike Community Foundation.

LIVE on Thursday, April 1st at 7 pm, ‘TriVersity Talk!’ welcomes back activist and TriVersity VP, Simone Kraus. This week’s discussion will center around the Trans Day of Visibility, which takes place on March 31st. Wendy, Steven, and Simone will dive into the history of the Trans Day of Visibility and why awareness of the transgender community is more important than ever.

Simone Kraus is currently the Vice President of TriVersity. She is a retired Pipefitter of 40 years and has been married for 39 years to her wife Mary. Simone is a regular panelist for Gender Equality New York and has written articles for several newspapers. She is currently writing her life story, along with two others from community, to be released in 2021. Simone was interviewed for and appeared in the movie ‘Rainbow Ending,’ directed by Alan Kaplan which was an official selection at the 2019 Chelsea Film Festival in NYC.
