London rock band Tooth have announced release parties for their upcoming debut EP ‘Restless In Bloom’ – here’s how you can get into their show at The Blue Posts on Friday June 12.
On the heels of their inclusion in the NME 100 of 2026 and NME Radar feature, Tooth are dropping their debut EP ‘Restless In Bloom’ on June 12 – and playing release events that same day to mark the milestone. NME is proud to present Tooth’s intimate release party at The Blue Posts (22 Berwick Street), the Soho pub where they honed their raucous live show as an up-and-coming band post-Covid lockdowns.
The tiny show was announced last Wednesday (May 20), and NME is giving away five pairs of list spots to the gig. Check out our Instagram giveaway below – all you have to do is like the post, follow NME and Tooth on Instagram, and leave a comment tagging a friend. Share the post on your Instagram story and tag NME for an extra entry.
The giveaway closes May 29, 11.59pm BST and randomly chosen winners will be contacted the following week. Five lucky winners will each get a pair of list spots to the Blue Posts show. Terms and conditions apply and can be found here. Get your entries in now!
Earlier this year we named Tooth to the NME 100 of 2026, tipping them as a “buzzy underground quartet who make life-affirming rock to shout along to”. We later saw them at The Great Escape, where they played one of the top shows we saw at the festival. “Though their studio sound is a battleground between emo, indie and grunge, none of that matters in Tooth’s feral live show,” wrote NME’s Rishi Shah. “If they keep this animal untamed, they will fly.”
In an NME Radar interview in April,Tooth shed light on the significance of The Blue Posts, where Tooth had a residency as a new band emerging from Covid lockdowns. “Those nights were messy and sleazy but a lot of fun,” guitarist Ben Ashley told NME. “The place was the size of a bathroom with leopard-print carpet, and we’d just get really drunk every Friday. It was important for us, though, because we got to play every week and it was a great testing ground.”
The band also told us about their upcoming EP ‘Restless In Bloom’, frontman Tom Pollock saying: “When I was writing the lyrics, I was at that fork in the road moment when you turn 18, and you notice that your adolescence is falling behind you. You hit this strange point where there’s no real certainty of what will happen in the future, but you’ve got to keep moving on.”
Before they take The Blue Posts on June 12, Tooth will also play The Blue Basement and a stripped-back performance and signing at Rough Trade Denmark Street.
