After the 90 Day Fiancé Season 12 Tell All, Mohamed “Mido” Fayed made a comment on social media about his wife, Debby Rolando, that has had the entire franchise talking. Now, Debby has responded to his wild claim.
During Season 12 of 90 Day Fiancé, Mido and Debby became one of the most talked-about couples in recent franchise history. From Mido’s consistent threats to return to Egypt to his “surprise” proposal, nobody knew whether they would make it to their wedding day.
At the start of the season, TLC introduced Debby and Mido, a real estate agent and an aspiring actor who seemed to have more affection for his major Hollywood dreams than his girlfriend. Throughout the season, the duo got into some serious arguments, with Mido threatening to leave New Orleans and return to Egypt during every single one. While they did tie the knot, fans were eager to see if they would still be together by the Tell All.
Now that Season 12 is over, we’re breaking down everything you need to know about their relationship status today, their most explosive arguments, and more.
Are Debby and Mido still together?
As of the Season 12 Tell All, Debby and Mido are still together. However, at the end of the three-part special, Mido revealed that he is still prepared to return to Egypt if he gets too frustrated in the U.S. without his green card. While Debby made it clear that she would go with him if necessary, she concluded the episode by sharing, “I don’t know if we’re in it for the long haul.”
Following the Tell All, Debby has yet to give an update on their relationship status. That said, Mido has landed a part in a U.S. film, so we’d assume his green card has come through, which would lessen their tension. However, a social media comment made by Mido has called their status into question.
What did Mido say about Debby?
On September 27, Mido responded to a social media comment asking, “Where is mamacita from 90 days fiancé??” Shocking fans, Mido told the commenter, “She passed away.” (Clearly, that is the case with Debby.) Fans were quick to call the comment “disgusting” and “messed up.”
On September 30, Debby was asked in her comments section, a fan asked, “Why is mido saying you passed away on his sunglasses photo?” In response, she claimed, “Not really sure. Haven’t seen the post.” Could this be a sign that their relationship is on the rocks?
How did Mido propose?
Mido started this season of 90 Day Fiancé by leaving Debby to wonder whether he was on his plane from Egypt, so it’s no surprise he pranked Debby during his proposal, too. Mido started his proposal by threatening to return to Egypt (again) at a potential wedding venue. After Debby went outside crying, Mido comforted her, then got down on one knee with a ring in hand. He then told her, “I got you,” laughing at his prank. After this tumultuous engagement, it’s unclear whether they actually tie the knot.
According to Mido, he had been carrying the ring, waiting for a good time to surprise Debby. Putting on the ring, he told Debby, “I don’t know about the size; it’s okay ’cause you lose weight.” Telling him, “It’s perfect,” Debby shed happy tears as she told him, “I’m going to kill you.”

What was Debby and Mido’s Halloween argument about?
At the end of Episode 6, Debby told her friends, “That is not my new husband,” before abandoning Mido on the side of the road. While Mido appeared to put on a show in the haunted house, schmoozing with all the actors, he completely shut down when they got back in the car. Debby told viewers, “I usually take 10 steps back and let him wear himself out because I know engaging in that situation is going to end up being a bad scene. But I was so embarrassed by the whole thing.”
As soon as she started crying, Mido told her, “You have everything. What you need? I should be frustrated, not you. I left everything.” Ever since arriving in America, Mido has been holding his sacrifices over Debby’s head. As soon as she asked him why he was being so rude, the floodgates opened. She finally told him, “I don’t know what you’re doing here because I don’t think you love me.”
She later told him, “You got to book a f**king flight. I’m dead serious. You could f**k that s**t in Egypt, but you can’t be compassionate with me?” After that, she told the producers to get him a flight home and then drove away.
At the Tell All, Debby claimed the argument was as much her fault as Mido’s.
